Recently,Baotai Group Corporation successfully rolled out the first batch of 339 nickel-based alloy sheets,totaling 43.7 tons,from its aerospace-grade wide titanium alloy sheet production line,laying a solid foundation for the mass production of high-temperature alloy sheets in the company.
The rolling of nickel-based alloy sheets this time faced challenges such as zero production experience,high requirements for thickness accuracy,appearance quality,and plate shape,as well as the characteristics of nickel-based alloys,such as high resistance to deformation at high temperatures,narrow hot working window,and poor hot plasticity.This is not only a test of the equipment capabilities of the newly established 1850mm hot rolling production line,but also a test of the team's combat capability in the plate factory.
The plate factory attached great importance to this task and promptly organized equipment,process,skilled craftsmen,and technical personnel from the manufacturer to establish a problem-solving team.They conducted multiple rounds of scheme discussions,boldly innovated processes,calculated rolling data,optimized rolling processes,and strictly controlled production links.During the rolling process,the members of the production line project team worked together closely and cooperated closely,carefully sorting out the key points of rolling and promptly solving on-site problems;frontline workers meticulously debugged the equipment,strictly controlling parameters such as rolling passes and rolling speed.With the joint efforts of all personnel,the first batch of nickel-based alloy thin plates produced with a width of 1000-1400mm had small thickness differences across the board,high surface quality,and excellent plate shape,fully meeting customer requirements.
