Manufacturing process of titanium plate:
Hot forging:A forging process conducted above the recrystallization temperature of the metal.
Hot rolling:A rolling process conducted at a temperature above the recrystallization temperature.
Cold rolling:A rolling process where the plastic deformation temperature is lower than the recovery temperature.
Annealing:A metal heat treatment process in which the metal is slowly heated to a certain temperature,maintained for a sufficient period of time,and then cooled at an appropriate rate(usually slow cooling,sometimes controlled cooling).
Acid pickling:Immerse the workpiece in an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid or the like to remove oxide films and other thin films on the metal surface.It is a pretreatment or intermediate treatment for processes such as electroplating,enamel,and rolling.
Characteristics of titanium plate:
1.The titanium plate features an oxidized film on its surface,which acts as a good durable and wear-resistant separator.The use of titanium plates saves on separators,facilitates plate stripping,and eliminates the need for plate pre-treatment.Titanium plates are half as light as copper plates.
The service life of titanium plates is more than three times that of copper plates,and can reach 10 to 20 years depending on operating conditions.
3.Electrolytic copper produced using titanium plates has a dense crystalline structure,with a flat and smooth surface,and excellent quality.
4.Since titanium plates do not require the application of a separating agent,contamination of copper electrolyte can be avoided.
5.Improve production capacity and reduce the production cost of electrolytic copper,thereby achieving better economic benefits.
Surface quality of titanium plate:
1.The surface of the plate should be smooth and polished,exhibiting the natural metallic color.It is permissible to supply the plate with a sandblasted surface;
2.Slight darkening and local water stains are permissible on the surface of the plate;local defects such as scratches,indentations,and pits that do not exceed half of the thickness tolerance are also allowed,but the thickness should be minimized;
3.The surface of the plate is not allowed to have macro defects such as cracks,peeling,oxide scale,crushing,metal and non-metal inclusions,and traces of over-alkali washing;
4.It is allowed to remove local defects from the plate along the rolling direction,but the thickness of the plate after removal shall not be less than the minimum allowable thickness;
5.When there are special requirements for the surface quality of the plate,the supply can be negotiated between the supplier and the buyer.
